Medthority is our independent medical education (IME) platform, hosting accredited educational resources that are entirely free from commercial influence. All resources on Medthority are developed, reviewed, and delivered through a fully segregated business unit within EPG Health. This structure guarantees that all educational activities – from webinars, in-person events, and hybrid formats to enduring online materials and accredited educational programs (AEPs) – meet the rigorous standards set by the International Academy for CPD Accreditation (IACPDA). It also ensures that Medthority is eligible for accreditation by recognized bodies, such as EBAC®.

Resources on Medthority are always:

  • Free from commercial influence and unbiased
  • Evidence-based, investigative, and relevant to clinical practice
  • Succinct, accessible, and intuitive for busy HCPs

Why is Medthority trusted by HCPs around the world?

Our resources are developed in partnership with world-renowned clinical experts at the forefront of medical research, providing the insights that HCPs need to make meaningful changes in their practice.

Is Medthority accredited?

Yes – you can earn CME credits with Medthority, which currently works with EBAC®, ACCME, and ANCC. We are fully committed to meeting the rigorous standards for substantive equivalency between accreditation systems set by the International Academy for CPD Accreditation (IACPDA), and we demonstrate this by:

  • Carrying out validity checks across all our educational programmes to ensure our resources are fair and balanced. We partner with relevant clinical leaders and medical associations to develop resources based on the highest level of evidence available, that respond to the needs of the target audience, and support safe, effective patient care.
  • Undertaking a comprehensive needs assessment at the start of each programme to enable us to understand the current needs of healthcare professionals, patients and communities, as well as the educational gaps. We also measure and assess the success of our educational programmes, from knowledge gain through to intent to change clinical practice.
  • Providing an educational platform that is free from advertising, and ensuring that programme design and selection of supporting faculty members remain free from influence or involvement from the pharmaceutical industry. We clearly separate our IME resources from any marketing by funding providers, so it’s easy to distinguish between IME and other sponsored activities.
  • Identifying any relevant financial relationships and managing these to ensure they do not introduce commercial bias into our educational resources. All relevant financial relationships between faculty and industry are fully disclosed. Our educational resources remain independent of the funding company, with terms, conditions and purposes for any commercial support clearly documented and agreed upfront.
  • Providing education in the most effective and engaging formats for our intended audience, and always working to improve accessibility.
What makes Medthority different?

Medthority goes beyond traditional medical education by applying our unique Investigatory IME (IIME) approach. Using our proprietary Digital Needs Assessment (DNA) methodology, we can identify the true learning needs of HCPs by uncovering the “hidden conversation,” revealing deeper clinical challenges that remain unaddressed.

How do we engage with HCPs in a meaningful way?

We listen closely to HCPs and their patients, surfacing real-world issues that can transform passive information delivery into active, intelligence-driven learning experiences. We also work to bridge the gap between HCPs and the thought leaders driving the latest developments in medicine – translating these advances into actionable insights that support better patient outcomes.

How do we ensure our content is accessible and relevant for HCPs?

We adapt swiftly to emerging trends, ensuring we focus on the most relevant, up-to-date insights that HCPs need to know. Jargon is stripped away, so busy professionals can easily access key points in a format that fits into their daily routine.
